Mobile App Gamification

Increasing User Engagement in Opioid Tracking App

Summary
GOAL:

combat one of the most costly and emotionally damaging issues in healthcare—opioid addiction

Incorporating the Octalysis Framework, my work on this project aimed to mitigate reliance on opioid medication by infusing gamification and rewards into a pain & medication-tracking mobile application. The resultant design integrated captivating motion design & sound effects, along with achievement & progress tracking functionalities. This approach led to heightened user adoption, satisfaction, & prolonged use of the app.
